TEST BAY DEPARTMENT

  • Testing based on pump efficiency, kW absorbed, pressure and quantity.
  • Station Capable of Testing up to 300CM³ (12 inch³) p/h on 200MM (8 inch) Pipe.
  • Based on 3 Different Sizes of Electromagnetic Flow Meters. Namely:
    • 50mm (2 inch) Pipe.
    • 100mm (4 inch) Pipe.
    • 200mm (8 inch) Pipe.
  • Software calculates friction loss, quantity and head, measured on different pipe sizes calibrated by KSB Pump Engineers for the accurate data recording of the pumps performance.
  • The print outs give all information regarding the test. Namely:
    Head
    Flow
    KW ABS
    Efficiency Performance
 
  • The tests are performed on 5 different readings:
    • Valve Just cracked
    • Valve Opened at 75%
    • Valve Opened at 50%
    • Valve Opened at 25%
    • Valve Completely Open
 
  • Please note that for the repairing of the pump, the OEM curve of the pump must be given by the customer, to ensure that accurate testing is carried out for it’s specific function.
